The first two matches for the first NXT on USA Network episode on September 18 were announced by WWE. With NXT moving to USA Network live every week, production and matches will have to be taken up a notch especially after October 2 when AEW kickstarts their TNT show head-to-head. The first match is a triple threat women’s match to determine the number one contender for the NXT Women’s title. Mia Yim, Io Shirai, and Bianca Belair will go against each other with the winner receiving a title shot, a title currently held by Shayna Baszler. The next Takeover is in November so it will be interesting if they will get the match before then as WWE did not announce when the title match will be held.
